(January 1, 2019, 11:00 pm)I love having Amaranth in St Albert. It's has a spacious, calm, low key atmosphere that's so different from most supermarkets and stores. Their produce is very high quality and their prices are competitive compared to other organic stores. I love supporting this local business and I hope it continues to grow!
(December 24, 2018, 8:50 am)Check out the greenhouse upstairs . It has the best plants for home air purification . I recommend snake plant, I bought one there last year and it's already sprouted two baby plants one and of which outgrew it by a few inches!

(February 2, 2018, 12:01 pm)Since this is the only store of it's kind in St. Albert, don't really have much of a choice but to shop there. There are lots of great items that are hard to find which I appreciate. However, it's expensive, the produce section is a JOKE, they carry potato chips (really) and the staff aren't very friendly or really knowledgeable. Especially in the supplements, medicinal teas, shampoos, etc., section. That's where you really need someone who knows their "stuff". Many times I feel like I'm bothering them. Time to pull up your socks Amaranth! Train your staff and weekly meetings on customer service would be a great idea too.
