By-the-Lake Park

Pretty, nice little playground, benches, picnic tables, and path around the lake. Close to dog park. Quite small (1.5km walking loop).

This is a fantastic park to take your children too. There is a wonderful walking path around the lake, and a small playground for the kids.
The water feature around the playground is amazing and beautiful. The water fountain in the lake is also amazing and the pelicans that swim around it are such beautiful creatures.
I really enjoyed this visit, and will definitely come here again if I’m in the area.

Awesome play area and pretty stream. Fun to watch the birds and we even saw a muskrat! Great park if you don’t mind a bit of goose poop on the trails.

Really nice place! Great for photoshoots as there is many areas for good photo ops... (Bridge, pillars, water, trees, bench, bushes, etc...) Would have loved to have brought my fishing rod to see if anything would bite. Found a blind baby mouse and saw pelicans too!

The place gets more esthetically pleasing each year. I have been visiting for more than a decade. The swans are beautiful, the art show is getting better each year and the landscaping is frequently maintained. My favourite thing to so is to put sunflower seeds in the birdhouses and the birds live them best.
