Long Island Lake Municipal Campground

Stayed here for the first time last weekend. Probably one of the nicest beaches I've been to close to Edmonton. It is pretty locked down to outside visitors this year but a plus for us, the beach was never packed and having our own designated picnic table at the beach included with the campsite was amazing! Will definitely be back next year. Staff were friendly and great to deal with! Thanks for a wonderful camping experience!

Great campground. We weekend we were there was a little cold but the trees provided great shelter from the wind and the water was warm. Great beach, playground and shallow water for the kids.

This is my FAVOURITE campground in the surrounding Edmonton area. It is clean, well kept and the staff is extremely friendly. The lady that works in the office is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is approachable and very friendly. The beach in this campground is a dream!! Just like the rest of the campground, it is clean and beautiful. We visit this campground every year and will continue to do so for years to come. Make sure you reserve your campsite early for long weekends because this place fills up quick!! Just thinking about heading to Long Island Lake brings a smile to my face. I LOVE it here!!

What a beautiful campground. The super people do such a fantastic job taking care of the grounds I was amazed. The bathrooms were stocked with two ply toilet paper. So you know they take care of your butt. The lake was cold but it was early. The beach area was clean and sandy with newer playground equipment for the kids.
