After a long lag of several years I was finally able to return to King's Fold twice within a few months. The scenery and natural environment feed my soul. I deeply needed time to recuperate and heal both physically and spiritually. Walking along the prayer path and sitting on the swing with the wind gently blowing and the beautiful mountain vista fed my soul.
What a blessing to enjoy a lovely room away from the hustle and bustle and to sit on the deck in the warmth of the sun and watching the birds and squirrels.
After having a friendly chat with a small family who were quite animated and vocal they graciously lowered their voices. It was lovely to see a family enjoying their time together.
The staff is always welcoming, friendly and available. I am hoping to return again in the near future.
There are many quiet place on the property of this centre for everyone to meditate and pray.
I love this place! The staff make the environment so lovely and welcoming, and there is a feeling of peace, quiet and space to be in solitude and reflection. And the mountain view is amazing.
Excellent place to get away and relax. I’ve always had great experiences here over many years.
I feel sorry for poor Greg. Based on his posted reviews of bad experiences at other places, he must be having a tough time. Seems to be focussing so much on negativity and complaining that he gets more and more to complain about!
The others who were disrespectful of the culture of peace promoted at Kings Fold must have known he was coming. Negativity attracts negativity.
Greg, many of us have been there. That is, living in the muck we make or expect. Try practicing expectation and faith in a loving God, an attitude of gratitude, and grace and compassion with annoying people. Instead of tattling and whining after the fact, you could have respectfully spoken with those who were talking, walking, and chanting loudly, and requested the quiet that guests hope for at Kings Fold. That quite likely would have solved the problem - maybe even the loud pooping. Then you could have had a better sleep, and a more peaceful, enjoyable stay.
Jesus Christ is the Christian example to follow, not imperfect people. Lots of love and hugs to you.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a safe and peaceful place with panoramic views, this is the place to be. You will never regret a minute of your stay here!
