Strathmore Recreation Campground

Warm bathrooms, nice camp ground. No WiFi

In need of a place to bring our toyhauler for a couple of weeks for work, we reached out to the campground attendant, Bev, who is a total sweetheart. Soon we were on our way, and ended up with a spot in the 100's area. It has been a really good stay, so far, with myself, my better half and our three dogs. It's also fairly quiet, meaning no excessive noise that keeps us up later than we want to at night.

The site and grounds themselves are quite tidy, the bathrooms are pretty big and very clean, with many stalls and hot showers. The laundry room is a good size, too, with lots of machines for use. It's right across from the aquatic center, which is awesome because who doesn't love a soak in the hot tub once in a while.

All in all, we've had a really good experience here and would recommend to others!

We had arranged camping prior to arriving and we were told that if we arrived late to call the number and someone would come help us. We called and called with no answer so we just decided to pick a spot on our own and set up camp. It ended up not being a problem but kind of stressed us out a bit.

The shower houses were nice and clean and it was nice and quiet where we stayed. I could hear that the group camping area wasn't as quiet but that's to be expected.

We would stay there again if we had to.
