(August 21, 2018, 9:47 pm)Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I had heard of this butcher from friends and have really liked their meat, service, and it is very reasonably priced.
I had not told them that i was using their meat in a Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned BBQ competition this past weekend, and had bought meat off the shelf. My smoked pork butt placed 2nd, brisket was top at the table of judges it went through, but they were stingy with their points so it placed 13th (it was the best brisket i have ever tasted and i am still enjoying the leftovers). My timing was off on my chicken and ribs and they were done too early and did not place as well.
I will definitely be a repeat customer!!
(January 30, 2018, 10:34 pm)Only 4 stars cos not shopped here enough to give a well-rounded opinion. But in 3 extra-effort purchases am very pleased. A truly great in-house butcher experience is worth it. Without hesitation I recommend this 'throw-back' experience. Similar to local weekend markets without the hype!
