(January 5, 2016, 8:37 pm)My 3.5hyr old daughter has really enjoyed preschool. The class size is small, the 2 teachers are wonderful and my daughter is gaining an understanding of French which is great. She sings French songs at home, can say colors, the alphabet, numbers, etc and is only 1/2 way through the 1st year so we are getting exactly what we wanted from this school. Its also reasonably priced and administered by like-minded parents which is a huge plus. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for great preschool.
(June 4, 2015, 12:53 am)Our daughter attends the 3 yr old class and absolutely loves it! We've already enrolled her in the 4 yr old class and are looking forward to her french vocabulary improving even more. The current teacher is excellent at educating the children through play and activities as well as providing a welcoming atmosphere. A great option for parents who plan to send their kids through the french immersion program.
(May 15, 2015, 9:12 pm)We absolutely love La Coccinelle! My daughter has really enjoyed the 3 year old program and is always bringing home new french words/songs that she's learned. It's been a positive start to her french immersion education. We are already looking forward to the 4 year old program this September!
(January 7, 2015, 8:49 pm)My Daughter has attended the school for the 3 and 4 year old classes. She loves the teacher, learning French and enjoys everyday that she is in class. Especially doing all of the crafts, which she gets to bring home and share with us. I am amazed at how quickly she is picking up French, which is not spoken when she is at home. We really enjoy the opportunities that a parent co-op gives us, spending time in the classroom and being able to hold a position on the board, which supplies us with a true insight into her first few yeas of school. I feel that by attending this preschool, we have given our daughter a great basis to start her French Immersion education.
(January 5, 2015, 3:52 am)Our family has been fortunate enough to have had all three of our boys enrolled at La Coccinelle for their preschool education. I can think of no better way to prepare my kids for French Immersion elementary than to have them attend a French Immersion preschool program. It sets them up for success in what could otherwise be a very stressful kindergarten experience. Many of the friends my children have made have gone on to their French Immersion elementary school as well.
The teachers are wonderful, patient, caring professionals and the level of French instruction has exceeded my expectations. At 3 and 4 years old, my kids were saying French phrases, singing French songs and acquiring large amounts of vocabulary. The classroom is a vibrant, fun and safe environment where the kids are always excited to go and explore. There are crafts, puppet shows, special presentations, music, gross motor activities and plenty of stories and themed parties. The creativity of the teachers knows no bounds.
As a parent cooperative, I would challenge anyone to find a harder working group of caring and like minded parents. It's such a wonderful little community and our parents are very dedicated to La Coccinelle. I am so fortunate to have found this school for my boys and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality French Immersion preschool experience for their child.
