Calgary Zoo

My daughter and I loved the zoo! It was a rainy, cold day and the animals were really active. The habitats for the animals are large and very attractive. The butterfly building was beautiful. It was very clean and easy to follow the maps. Amazed to learn the zoo was run all by donations. Our favorite animals were the big cats, penguins and pandas, but it was all great. We would go back again!

The lemur exhibit is amazing! The programming was very well done. The one down side is that most of the food locations weren't open on a weekday. Also, be aware that it's a very, very big zoo and you probably won't be able to do it all in one day, maybe if you rented a motorized wheelchair from the gift shop.

No wonder the Calgary Zoo is world class! The entrance is awesome and the sections of various species is well played out. Very clean and well kept in all aspects. Even at the busy times there is lots of space for all to enjoy the animals and learn about them with trained and knowledgeable docents. Everyone enjoys the Calgary Zoo!

Went on a public holiday and had great weather. Was a bit crowded but all in all a great zoo experience. A great outing for kids. There is so much to see that you can't see everything in one visit. Would definitely recommend it. And I would recommend a annual pass for multiple visits. Only 4 visits on an annual pass makes it worth the money spent. We will definitely go again soon.
