They source their coffee responsibly, and is creative in introducing the profile and tastes of each product. The shop is beautifully decorated and wonderfully kept. We are so happy to find a small local roaster such as them. We will definitely drop by whenever we are in town.
(December 19, 2018, 12:37 am)Owner is very knowledgeable and knows a lot about coffee. Very passionate about his craft and the excellent coffee speaks for itself. I always stop by if I happen to be along Center street.
(November 17, 2018, 10:51 pm)Honestly some of the best espresso I've had in the city. Very smooth and well balanced.
My cappuccino was made with a Washed Ethiopian and it was neither bitter or sour. Perfectly dialed. The owners obviously care about the quality of their product.
10/10 will recommend to any friend or colleague.
(October 19, 2018, 10:16 pm)Went here for the first time and was SUPER impressed so much that I had to come back ASAP to try more. Both the guy and girl working were extremely knowledgable in their beans + roasting, the hand brew is amazing (and four options to choose from), and I was able to buy beans for home. Basically I can't stop talking about this place now and I am way too excited to try all of their hand brew options. Glad to find a great option in Calgary aside from the more well known shops!
(September 26, 2018, 1:53 am)Expectations-redefining coffee experience. As an Italian I am proud of my coffee heritage, yet here I was taught just how much better coffee can be.
Roasted-on site, ground the instant before being hand-brewed, I had an Ethiopian coffee with tasting notes that included "tomato, orange and honey". The taste and smell of fresh ripe tomato was incredible, undeniable and fantastic overlay to the coffee.
See / smell / taste for yourself, it really is that good.
