Great for kids
Nice park!
I’ve lived here my entire life so far. I’ve been going to this park for as long as I could remember. A really nice little park, it’s great to play on! There is a little tiny area of trees and bushes that tiny yellow flowers grow on in the spring and summers. Beside the park there is a tiny hill. It’s great for sledding in the winter for little ones. There is also one picnic table.
Behind the park and down the hill there is the lake with a bunch of rocks. I’ve always loved to throw them into the lake when I was little and try to skip them.
Be careful though as the giant rocks surrounding the lake can be slippery when wet. And you can fall in. The lake is also kinda gross. It’s more of a water storage hole and it’s full of alge. It used to be a breeding ground for misqtoes before. It got so bad that the government had to drain the lake one year and install oxyen tanks under it, to keep the water oxygenated. It’s muxh better now since then but the bugs still spawn.
Should be fine though. Just make sure you don’t let your kids climb on the giant rocks and definitely don’t let them go swimming, ice skating, or boating. That like isn’t allowed for that. And being bug spray in the summers.
The lake has a very pretty view though! It’s a nice little park.
Very nice and quite park to come and enjoy on a beautiful summer day. The sunset with the pond is majestic. A small park with a big heart and a lot to give to the community. Not a must see. But worth of going 2x a month.
Peaceful tiny lake! Obviously the kid enjoyed the playground the most. Too bad there isn't some kind of water playground for the kids to enjoy. Also lots of mosquitoes... Bring your sprays
