Carmine's Pizzeria - North

Just tried Carmines for the first time tonight, definitely going to try again And ill see if they are consistent, but as for now this is best pizza place iv tried in Calgary, excellent pizza

Zah is life ?I do like this place but it's been hit or miss for me. First time I got pizza here the crust was soggy and wasn't the best. Decided to try a second time and the crust was definitely better. I would only get these pizza when they're on special. They are good Italian pizza but pretty pricey. Do note this is not NY style. I would come back and try out the other pizzas tho ?Can't help it, Sushi and Pizza are my favs

We ordered pizza from Carmine's and absolutely loved it! Great NY style crust, and the sauce was so tasty. We ordered an 18 inch (The Babe) and it was a hit, even with the kids. We will certainly be ordering again. Thank you!

Long have we searched Calgary for the perfect NY style slice. There are places that have come close, but have lacked crucial details-- the wrong stringiness of cheese, not quite the right bite to the crust, lacking in huge bubbles, the wrong size... But this. This is The Slice. To any homesick East Coasters, come here and get the slice that you haven't had since you left. Come for the oil dripping down your wrist from molten lava cheese, the perfect crunch of crust as it folds.

They make everything to order and the price is very reasonable (this isn't Dominoes!), and the house staff are the nicest people ever. There's no oregano or garlic shaker, but they were nice enough to give us a bowl of herbs when we asked! There are also non-pizza options and a varied and interesting dessert selection.

So authentic, I feel like a seagull is going to come and steal my food any minute.

Great atmosphere mixed with delicious food! The staff are super friendly and treat you like a regular. Definitely lives up to the hype.
