Joanne is really a wonderful piano instructor. My daughter Chang Chang has been with Joanne for more than one year and she likes Joanne so much. Joanne has found an effective way to encourage small kids to interested in piano lessons. Because of her unique teaching style and soft and kind personality, I don't need to push my daughter anymore as she likes practicing piano by herself everyday. My daughter got an honored pass in her grade two piano exam. I would strongly recommend Joanne!

My daughter Melly became Joanne's student since September 2014. Joanne has something very special and distinct from others.

Melly had a few teachers before, but Joanne has something very special in her. The way she approached Melly was offering a few couple free lessons and see they both compatible to teach and learn together, she is very focus on relationship building and encouraging & inspiring process.
Joanne is working on her passion and integrity, unlike like some others, some young teachers just working for money. Joanne is truly working for her passion, she loves kids, truly enjoys the teaching process.

Joanne not only teach so many kids in a busy schedule, but also hosts a Christmas Recital Party up to 100 kids at Cardel Theatre each year, that give the kids a great opportunity to show case their talent and learn from others talents as well.

I have never seen a young teacher show up on time, each time and all the time. Joanne is a very self-motivated individual, working for passions, integrity, honesty, warm and patience....

Joanne has taught my children piano for the past two years. Her lessons are well planned out and delivered in a highly motivating way. She has great rapport with my children and has established a meaningful relationship with each of them. They often pick out their own piano pieces and this motivates them to practice because they enjoy learning their new songs. Joanne's Christmas concert is impressive and a highlight for my children and our family (their grandparents actually want to go!!). I would highly recommend Vivace Music!
