(February 23, 2019, 3:41 am)Take it from a white girl who has been to India, this place is FANTASTIC, authentic, delicious and affordable. Best Indian in Calgary, with great service and massive portions too! Would give it 6/5 stars if I could.
(February 19, 2019, 9:37 pm)Have been here more than a handful of times and loved the service and the food. Staff very kind and accommodating.
Never tried a bad dish and never had a concern about bread not being made properly or curry not cooked up to perfection.
Guru is a restaurant I have even recommended to my known people and acquaintances to go and try if they like North-Indian style food and cooking.
I know that I will continue to be a loyal customer ????

(December 6, 2018, 6:06 pm)My wife and I ended up here because we were in an unfamiliar part of town and it was nearby. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Everything tasted homemade and the quality was way better than most Indian places in town. The portions were also very generous compared to most Indian restaurants, with lots of chicken in their house chicken curry and an appetizer platter that supplied leftovers all on its own. Definitely worth going back.
(December 2, 2018, 9:43 pm)Wow! Celebrated a birthday with family at Guru. Some had never tried Indian before. Everyone found something to call outstandingly delicious. And the bread was fresh, puffy, hot and buttery. I eat Indian a lot and Guru was awesome. Definitely returning
