Pio Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken

My boyfriend took me here on a date night, and we were not disappointed! The food is so delicious and fresh and really tasted like someone worked hard and with love to make it amazing. The service is outstanding, the older gentleman is kind and welcoming and really makes you feel like you are a friend visiting his home. The chicken is to die for, and the sauces.. omg. The yellow sauce is probably one of the best sauces I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had their beef special with beans and rice, I’m not a cilantro fan, but even i loved the dish. We will absolutely be back to try more from this little gem.

A really amazing family owned restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and amazing food. The staff will make you feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent family-run Peruvian chicken place, easily the best we have had outside of Peru. The skin and seasoning of the chicken were perfect and the meat was tasty and not at all dry. They had four sauces to pick from and the two we had were great. The fries were also great and made in the typical Peruvian style. They have Inca Cola available, and also have the ingredients for pisco sours and other Peruvian cocktails. The staff/owners were very friendly and charismatic. Service was quick and the price was quite affordable. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely delicious. We had a variety of their dishes. The chicken was flavourful and moist. The fish had amazing flavour. Even the salad was crisp. I love ceviche and this was not a disappointment. The sauces fresh and yummy. The place is clean and bright and the staff very friendly. HINT: try the beef hearts. They are not scary. They are moist. Tender and flavourful. You get a skewer with thin slices. You would never know. And it’s very lean.

Really nice people who run this place. I cant say enough about their friendliness and hospitality. Food is good and has that home cooked taste. Fair price for what you get. Definitely a great find. You have to get the roasted chicken with any of the dipping sauces. Delicious.
