(February 25, 2019, 12:16 am)This unique store is in the "Must Visit" category. Huge selection of European treasures from all types of tasty european foods to unique cuckoo clocks. They also have a large selection of collector Beer Steins. Don't miss trying out the deli. Tasty and unique German food. It's always a treat to visit this store. Highly recommend.

(January 14, 2019, 12:38 am)Went for a quick lunch. Soup home-made and the atmosphere is relaxed with variety of seating for couples or groups. Love the little biscuit you get with a latte. They offer a good selection of farm style lunches like perogies, cabbage rolls, bratwurst with the usual sides of red cabbage and sauerkraut. Between $15 and $20 for lunch. Cakes are a little dry for my taste. Good selection of cheeses and deli meats. Fun place to eat and shop.
(December 28, 2018, 4:06 am)I visit at least on a weekly basis. The fresh bread, cold cuts, black current syrup and some licorice or over Christmas I just love the lebkuchen and the different Christmas crackers were a big hit.
Great, helpful, friendly staff.
So many different things to check out with groceries, decor, kids items, kitchen tools. Always enjoy a stop there, so glad it is an easy walking distance from home.
(November 23, 2018, 4:50 pm)I might have spent a lot of money here, just because there is so much variety in what they stock. For myself, the licorice. For anybody, the cookies and baking. Even the cafe holds charm with its menu, and I was surprised to find a jalapeno rub in stock. I am not a collector of porcelain, but they have that too. It was nice to have a taste of Old World here in Calgary
