I have nothing but praise for dr Fernandes and for his front desk staff. I appreciated the email reminders for my appointments and the fact that they wanted to “hear my voice” in order to confirm I was still coming. I loved the fact that when calling, you could press 3 “to speak to a real person”. How refreshing! Doctor Fernandez is extremely professional, efficient and personable. Will highly recommend.

Don't believe any of the negative reviews about this amazing Doctor and his staff. I'm a single Mom that had to take 3 buses with my baby from Castleridge to be able to attend the appointment for the wickedly painful infected lymph node in my armpit. I was in pain for at least 3 weeks and it was horrible. Antibiotics didn't help and I could barely move my arm. My Doctor told me I needed surgery.

I was about 45 minutes late for my appointment because of the bus, and I was feeling horrible that they would cancel my appointment. But the nice nurse saw I was having trouble pushing the stroller and held the big glass door open for me. I had tears in my eyes, and she told me not to worry, which is when I noticed that she had her coat on to leave for the day. I felt really terrible, but then she went into the back of the clinic and got the Doctor to come back because he was leaving.

The Doctor was so nice, and I was apologizing in tears. My baby started to cry when I started to cry and the nurse was so nice and took my baby for me while the Doctor prepped me for surgery. The numbing was painful but really quick. The Doctor talked to me and kept me calm during the surgery, which took him over an hour. The nurse was real nice and handed him stuff when he asked for it. She kept my baby's stroller just outside the room and she was really calm with the nurse who told me that she had two grown daughters.

Once the surgery was done, the Doctor got me all sewed up with no stitches on the outside at all. It was totally amazing and I didn't hurt at all. It was cold that day and I was getting worried that the express bus stopped running at 6:00, but the nice nurse told me she ordered a taxi for me. I was worried that I could not afford the taxi, but the Nurse told me that the Doctor's Office arranged to pay for it already. I was told that this Doctor charges for things that are not covered by health care and tried to offer my credit card, but they just smiled and told me that they sometimes just do stuff for free for nice people that need the help and the nurse just to me to do something nice for somebody some day.

On the way home, the Taxi driver pulled into the McDonald's drive through and then asked me what I wanted. I didn't have any cash so I said nothing thanks because I thought he was ordering for him. He turned around and told me the Nurse thought I looked hungry, which I was, so she gave him money and a nice tip to take me through the drive through.

I cried again. I'm SUCH a wus! I was so starving and got a Big Mac which I have not had in ages!

I don't have words to express how much I appreciate these amazing people. I healed really good and now you can hardly see the scar in my armpit. I have been fine ever since and there is never any more pain. I hope that people read this honest review because it is the least I can do to express my appreciation and thank-you to Dr. Fernandes and his Nurse Paige. I'm crying again. I'm such a wus!

I don't know WHAT those critical people are talking about! Why would they leave such a bad rating when they all agree that the Doctor is amazing? People!

My experience was amazing from the moment I called this office. The staff were very professional, polite, efficient and actually CARING! I cannot state how much of a positive difference this wonderful staff made to my experience.

I was terrified to see a Doctor again after some bad experiences in the past - but this Doctor was very kind and patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions and he even drew a picture of exactly how he was going to do my surgery. I was so scared at first, that I was in tears while waiting to see him, but he had me laughing and at ease within a few minutes! The surgery on my chest wall went really well and I didn't feel a thing. I can't even see the scar anymore, and I am so grateful to these wonderful people.

I had a couple of concerns about my healing after the surgery - I am SUCH a ninny - and the front-end staff were very patient with me. They told me to text the Dr. some photos, and he called me within minutes to reassure me that everything was fine.

If I could offer TEN stars, I would!
