Best pizza in Calgary prob. Cheap too . Good wings. All cheap and good people work there.
Pangea pizza is by far one of the best pizza joints in the city. We get cravings to eat there at least once every 2 weeks. Don’t listen to the silly reviews of it being dirty. It’s no different than any restaurant kitchen. It’s just older building. Never had an issue with the food not being top quality.
My wife and I order from here often on Skip. The pizza is great however the hot wings are the real MVP here. The hot wings are ACTUALLY hot. Not like "Frank's Red Hot" but not like Suicide. A happy mediem between the two. Keep up the great work!
I order from here regularly. They are generous with toppings and the crust is amazing. I generally skip eating the crust but I look forward to thin crust from this place. The prices are great too. I kinda wish they had more sides and whatnot. But they are what they are and they are good at it. Try their pizza now!
Good: If you want a really big pizza, this place has your back.
Bad: (important for people with dietary restrictions)The menu is not detailed enough. Once I ordered a barbecue chicken, and got barbecue chicken with bacon. I can't eat pork. The pizza names don't display what is actually on the pizza. If the title says "barbecue chicken" a normal person won't think that it has bacon on it. When they get the pizza it's more like "surprise there's bacon on it". This is something to beware of if ordering by phone, as the place doesn't have a website or an online menu with detailed descriptions. Otherwise rename it to "barbecue chicken with bacon".
Another thing is the crust is really thin, so toppings fall off when you pick a slice up. After a while the dough absorbs the sauce and makes the crust wet.
