  Amazing people and service.
  I tried veg Manchurian and fried rice, they were pretty good. Veg pakoras can be a little better in taste. But liked the presentation.
  
  I like spicy food and the spice level was okay. I'd suggest getting that reduced of you're not okay with spices.

  Had a great experience at this restaurant. Not only is the atmosphere very welcoming the manager makes every effort to ensure you feel right at home. The food was really good. Very creative options different from all other Indian places which can be very similar to one another. Great service, great food and overall a great experience. Would highly recommend.

  I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in and around Calgary and this is by far my favorite. Amazing food! Everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. And the service was great. Definitely going to go back soon.

  Tamarind is a wonderful place with incredible food. The atmosphere is lovely, the service was attentive and kind, just great. Food is flavourful and outstanding. Cocktails are delicious as well. Overall, excellent dinning experience and a well deserved 5 star review. We will be back soon.

  This was my first time ever to eat at an Indian cuisine restaurant. Our server was the sweetest, cracking jokes and ensuring our table was cleared quickly and frequently, to allow the night to be very enjoyable.
  The food was delicious, although came in small pots/dishes, was very filling and tastefully presented. I was too hungry to even take pictures! If you're not a fan of eggplants their veggie dish disguises its usual taste and makes it taste so good - recommended by our server who apparently eats its three times a week even though she hates eggplant!
  Atmosphere is nice and the lights for certain tables can be dimmed for better mood setting, or even brightened for great photos!

(403) 731-0001 Found my way into this place because it was close to where we picked up our engagement photos and I've quite pleased to have found this place indeed! A worthy note from my discriminating Indian palate - this seems to be heavily westernized and not overly authentic (my favorite) but it's still darn tasty.
