“Claw Torch-On Roofing Job Varsity Acres I live in a house that was built in 1967. Claw Roofing did an excellent job on replacing my old worn out leaking tar and gravel roof with a brand new torch-on roof. They expedited the job in view of the fact that it was already leaking and needed immediate replacement -- which was greatly appreciated. The job was done last autumn (2017) – so I have had the benefit of evaluating the roofing job over the winter months as well as through the hottest part of the summer. I can honestly say that the house was warmer and felt cozier over the winter and cooler in the summer thanks to the upgraded insulation. I am also pleased that the rain gutters work properly now. The (hot) crew was very scrupulous in replacing any rotten or deteriorating wood. The installation crew was very friendly, polite and cheerfully answered all my questions as the job progressed. The job was completed on time and the upon completion of the job, the site was thoroughly cleaned up. Peter Gerrard, the company president, who initially discussed all of the available options, prepared the initial estimate and was on site numerous times to ensure the job was done to his high standards. So when it was my time to get my garage roof redone, she suggested that I go with Ed and his team. To be honest I did get a number of quotes. Some were a lot more expensive and some were a lot cheaper. When I finally settled on this company after going through things with my daughter, I am very pleased that I made this decision! I appreciated the professionalism shown through the entire process. The price was still reasonable and everything was completed in a timely manner. Most definitely well worth the money! I felt very comfortable approaching Ed and his team with any question and concern that came to mind which made this entire experience a lot more pleasant and less stressful. “These experienced roofers replaced our roof of our Chestermere 2 storey home, in the Summer 2018, with better quality materials than the previous big company. The PHR estimator pointed out that our old shingles didn’t extend over the gutters far enough and that the roof had no metal drip edge, which was causing trouble for the gutters. Those problems are rectified now. Despite some very windy weather the fellows completed the roof and did some other siding repairs and added a downspout. Each day the cleaned up the yard, after their long day on the job. They were courteous and there was no foul language. I would definitely have Prairie Home Roofing address my roofing needs in the future.”
