(March 9, 2019, 7:19 pm)I have had the unfortunate opportunity to experience many health care facilities. The South Health Campus however restored my faith in the medical staff. With the exception of parking fees, which I feel are nothing more than a cash cow seriously taking advantage of the ill and their families, and one nurse named Janice in the siesta stay Ward (she was nasty, and the complete opposite all of the other wonderful staff) this is by far the best health care I have ever received.
The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to my needs, and give the impression they are happy with their work. The facility is as close to feeling like home you can get in a hospital. I was very comfortable.
What I found to be best of all was the fact that my husband was permitted to stay with me in my room after my surgery, which just added to my comfort and allowed me to completely content and relaxed while I healed. in all other health care facilities, rent a cops removed my husband at the end of visiting hours. There was no compassion shown whatsoever.
If it was possible to give more than 5 stars I would. Never change South Health Campus (except you have my support to lower your parking fees) No one likes to be injured or sick, but if I am.......I hope to be injured or sick in your facility.
(March 8, 2019, 8:47 pm)I found the hospital, staff and MRI to be so much better than any other place in Calgary. As it's a newer machine, I felt far less claustrophobic than in other older machines. Clean, nice, new, state of the art equipment. Worth the longer drive. 10/10
(February 13, 2019, 7:33 pm)Staff are good but parking is expensive. I hope you consider that some of us have to take time off work without pay to attend an appointment here and then have to spend more money to park.
(January 31, 2019, 3:12 pm)Amazing staff! I have never felt more like a hospital has ever cared about me like they do at South Health Campus! I came from a city where the ER staff treated everyone like a burden... but at South Health Campus every part of the nursing staff cared about my health and well being. I never want to go anywhere else! Thank you South Health Campus!
(December 6, 2018, 1:57 pm)This hospital has the most amazing maternity unit! All of the staff are kind, caring, helpful, considerate, and respectful and it is obvious that they love what they do. I delivered my son there this week and could not have asked for a more positive experience! I am so grateful to the staff for all of their dedication and passion and will not forget their kindness.
