A safe haven for health- finally. My thyroid problems were mostly ignored by numerous doctors for years- I dragged myself here for help. Dr Gillies asked a million questions and we discussed everything about my health- really everything- like how I was born, and was I breastfed. I didn't even know, I had to go ask my mom. We did some testing, actually a lot of testing - it turned out to be my digestive health affecting my thyroid- and my sex hormones and my brain-who knew!!. I feel great after a year, I'm now on a small amount of mixed thyroid medications, following a healthy diet- I still can't eat dairy in any form( it was hard initially) or eggs or gluten - my acne has settled, no more bloating and constipation, I can sleep and concentrate and no more brain fog and weird body aches and best of all, I have so much energy. I take some supplements- definitely not as much as in the beginning. The beginning was hard , but Dr Gillies offered so many tools to help. I like that I am involved in the process, am learning constantly about what it takes to feel better. I recommend this process for anyone who really wants to feel good. I know I will stay with this way of caring for myself.
