Gibson P F Dr

I've been seeing Dr. Gibson since I was a child and he has always treated me with the utmost care. The receptionist (his wife of some 50+ years) is well...a little British. Yes, she doesn't come across very warm but upon getting to know her throughout the years she does warm up. I am a little sad to see Dr.Gibson retire; however, after his many years of wonderful service I wish him and Ann a happy retirement.

I've been going to Dr Gibson for 9 years. I have never been treated with anything but care and respect. There are no computers, but that is only for scheduling and record keeping anyway. Most doctors (unless they have moved to the iPad or are in ER, use written records anyway. I have been to more modern offices for sure, but he gets the job done and I trust he remains current on developments in the area.

There are a ton of reviews on the web about this office, and about 90% of them all day the same thing. Unfortunately, they are all based on his receptionist (who is not the friendliest lady). However, I feel the need to write a review about Dr. Gibson himself because that is what really matters. I have been seeing Dr. Gibson for years, as I have stribismous (a lazy eye) and he has operated on me a couple of times. He is truly an amazing doctor, he is kind and understanding and he knows what he is talking about.

A couple years ago I was having some pretty major symptoms in my left eye. I went to 3 different doctors, who found nothing and blamed it on my stribismous and told me I have to have surgery again.

I went to Dr. Gibson to talk about yet another surgery. I was not in his chair for 5 minutes when he found a piece of plastic lodged into my eye (that 3 other optometrists missed). He removed it right then and there and my horrible symptoms were immediately gone.

In my opinion (coming from someone who has seen eye doctors all her life), Dr. Gibson is the BEST eye doctor I have ever seen.

Do yourself a favor and look past the receptionist, and the out dated equipment because he is definitely worth seeing and he truly is a phenomenal doctor.

Excellent Doctor. Very personable, caring, and never rushed. Dr. Gibson takes the time to answer your questions and his years of experience are seen throughout your entire visit. The first appointment of the day is 7:00 AM! That time of the day allows most working class people to have their appointment and still be at work on time.
