It was trivial to walk into the bar (1410), pick bitcoin, scan my receive address and start inserting 20$ bills - click done when I'm done and I could quickly see the transaction added to the mempool. No ID required (plus).
Where I offer 3 stars is that I deposited 60$ and received 52$. That's a huge fee and I couldn't find it published anywhere (I've scoured their site). I was prepared to pay 6 or even 8 percent but 12% is quite high. It's not that I care about losing 8$....using this was an experiment, but it makes me nervous about making any large deposits because of the lack of transparency and the ultimate whallop of 12% is not worth the added privacy
