Safeway Glenmore Landing

The last time my husband and I went grocery shopping, we were checking out $300+ worth of groceries, yet this cashier (a very young girl, could be new to the job) was giving us attitude, angry glares and was tossing some items back on the conveyor belt when she couldn't scan them properly.

You would think the senior staff would train these kids to do their job better and teach them to act appropriately. Extremely disappointed with their service as of late. I honestly hope this young girl does not continue to work at this Safeway. I can imagine she'd be giving the same nasty attitude to other customers, which is totally unacceptable.

Giving it 3 stars because we haven't had any problems with this store or the staff until now.

I appreciate a store that takes covid seriously, and they definitely do. Staff are very nice, and places like the self checkout with frequent contact are sanitized after each person. On the other hand, they've definitely raised their prices a fair amount, despite there being no products shortages like there was at the beginning of the shutdown. It's a dealbreaker for me but if it won't break the bank for you and you want to feel (relatively) safe in a store, I would recommend.

Great customer service! Just came in to pick up some water, but it's obvious that the staff goes out of their way to be helpful.

Well stocked and layer out. No self check out early or late loses a star for them
