They keep this place clean and they have a lot of different equipment, gym, climbing wall, and a good pool. I wish they had a nice big slide for the kids at the pool and I wish it wasn't so busy.
Love this place. Their gym is top notch and all the amenities. We looked at switching but nothing compares and the value is way better!! There's a camaraderie amongst the members and volunteers that cannot be beat.
Love this YMCA!! Been going here off and on for years. Definitely a family friendly facility with lots to do. My major complaint though is the babysitting and parking. You usually have to book a week in advance if you want to get your kids in. If you call a couple days before they're usually full. So much for any spontaneous workouts or for people who don't know their schedule ahead of time. They have a room next door that can be used as an extension of the babysitting but instead of opening that up they book classes in there. I think first priority should be making space for people already paying for their membership. So they can use it. Instead of adding an extra classes. Hope they change that. Also parking can be a real pain. There seems to be a lot of people who park there all day. It's a hassle when you have to park at the opposite side of the facility and walk from the skating rinks all the way to the entrance with young kids (possibly carrying one plus a diaper bag) especially in the winter. It would be nice if they had family parking or 2.5 hour parking to help with this.
Really enjoyed coming to the swimming pool here. They have two side one for younger kids and another side for adults. We came as a group of 4 and were told that we couldn't go to the pool because they were at capacity but we were more then welcome to see if they will let us in downstairs. But when we got there, their was no line up and we were able to walk right in. I am not really sure why we got contradictory message from the guest services team but we still enjoyed our time.
