(July 1, 2019, 3:26 am)Great location for a family picnic, large space includes picnic shelter, fire pit and tables... sunny spot with some shade well-situated for parking early in the day not so much later. Due to the size of the space if you have a small group you will spend a ton of time fending off squatters. Best to book ahead with City of Calgary 311.

(August 31, 2018, 5:48 pm)A nice picnic area in the North Glenmore Park, a great place to stop for a rest while taking in the beauty. My main gripe with the picnic area itself is that none of the benches/tables are under shade. If you want to enjoy the shade of the trees, you will have to dine on the ground, but watch out for the ants, you don't want them to steal your picnic! :)
