Had a sudden issue with my eye and called Southwood Eyecare to see if they can get me in quickly. Even with their busy schedule, the staff was able to fit me in right away.

The optometrist was fantastic and was very thorough with her explanations. I ended doing my eye exam with the same clinic, as I loved their customer service and professionalism at my first visit.

New prescription is working great, and love my new frames! If you are looking for a thorough, knowledgeable optometrist and professional customer service, this is the place to go!

I was very happy with the service I received. Southwood has some very advanced testing equipment and it was pretty cool to see the pictures of my retinas.

Dr. Tran Nguyen was very thorough with determining my prescription and ensuring that my vision was balanced between both eyes. She also reviewed my eye health with me and I learned some fascinating things about how eyes show a lot about your general health.

I ordered glasses in a pretty hip looking frame, but the frame was defective and broke when the lenses were put into it. The optician, Mary, contacted the manufacturer and determined that the frame was poorly designed and wouldn’t work. She proceeded to help me select some other frames to try and ordered them in for me. She found some I liked better than the ones I’d originally selected. I actually received a little money back when all was said and done.

Many businesses can have good service when everything runs smoothly, but when there’s a problem, how a clinic responds speaks volumes. Southwood really stood behind their services and made sure that I had excellent frames, lenses and great service.

Very impressed with Dr. Tran Nguyen. I had an eye issue develop and was attended to immediately. The quick and accurate diagnosis prevented further eye damage. The office personnel were extremely professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.

Amazing experience, not only was everyone friendly and attentive, but it was easy to get an appointment and I got in really fast. They clean the equipment for you personally and the lady who tested me was kind and patient when I would accidentally blink. The doctor is the nicest and she is so calm, which I especially appreciate because eye check ups make me nervous. She addressed all of my concerns and made sure I was better educated going forward. She even taught me a bunch of stuff about my eyes because they have amazing machines to take full scans for no extra cost. In fact they gave me free eye drops and trial contacts to see how they work before commiting. The contact fitting fee is actually more like 40$, and there was no pressure to buy glasses at all, although they gave me an estimate, which is helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a family doctor style optometrist.
