(December 25, 2018, 8:05 pm)This is the center of the action for the Calgary Stampede, aka the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. Whether you are here for the Rodeo, the Chuckwagon races, the Grandstand Show featuring The Young Canadians, or the massive nightly fireworks show, you are sure to have an enjoyable and very memorable experience.
(November 2, 2018, 2:50 am)A nice venue but can be quite odd depending on the type of event that takes place. Kinda wish they had an actual restaurant inside too for a nice supper before the grandstand show as an example.
(September 10, 2018, 1:53 am)On the plus side, it's hard to have a bad seat, although monster trucks are easier to see than calves. Some seats are reasonably shaded but most can be fairly exposed. Not enough bathrooms as usual.
(August 28, 2018, 4:31 am)Anyone who goes to the Calgary Stampede must attend one Grand Stand show during it's 10 day course. The Grand Stand show really is the crown jewel of the Calgary Stampede. You might even get lucky and see a celebrity or two performing in the show, but it's always a surprise so you never know what you'll get! To conclude it all a finale as grand as the show itself, with fireworks that will dazzle and awe your imagination well into the night as you dream of the spectacular show you just whitnessed. A definite attraction that must be added to complete your Stampede experience!
(August 17, 2018, 11:36 pm)Great outdoor stage either for agricultural contests, exhibitions, concerts and other live shows. Don't miss the Grand Stand Show during the Stampede week. It's amazing what they can do in there.
The place is big and comfortable, has enough washroom and amenities.
