Nice trails for a light or long walk. Good chance of seeing deer and beavers
Beautiful paths through a natural park with lots of water and trees.
Beautiful. Great paths with hills, forests, and riverbanks to explore. Lots of wildlife to see (we'll often see deer, red-winged blackbirds, and more). The paths are not always ploughed in the winter, so stroller/wheelchair accessibility isn't perfect. Be warned that washrooms close in the winter. But such a great spot for walking, biking, and running.
Lots of great bike trails for kids to learn on before heading further west.
Keep an eye on the times the park is open. We didn't realize it got changed and our vehicle got locked in the parking lot. Had to wait a couple hours in the dark for the parks people to come let us out. Luckily they waived the $172 fine because they had only changed the hours a couple days prior.
Excellent all season recreation! Rich history, wildlife, fresh water springs, and more single-track bike trails than you can shake a stick at!
It keeps getting better west of Macleod trail
...Keep Fish Creek clean, and tell your friends to keep off the damn XC ski trails unless you're there on skis!
