Doug is great! Have taken the wife's Cadillac SRX here for a few problems and he was able to turn it around within 1-2 days. Great guy, great service by Cathy at the front :)

I enjoy coming here because Doug makes sure you understand what he is going to do and his reasoning. He doesn’t push you to buy things and do unnecessary work unless you give him the okay. He is always willing to show me things and is not rushing to get me out the door. He shows he cares about his customers. He’s always helping me with all my concerns/questions and goes above and beyond what I expected. Also, if you are poor like me and hardly have money to just throw away on your car, he always offers alternatives such as waiting if something is not severe, unlike other places that give you a sense of urgency so you spend money right away, or suggests a cheaper option if it’s available. I’ve personally learned so much about cars every time I come here and I always appreciate the knowledge.

Doug is an honest, efficient, knowledgeable mechanic. He will take the time to thoroughly explain your vehicle's issues and won't push extra labour on you if it is an easy fix you can do yourself. He will also discuss labour and parts options and prices with you beforehand. We've always been able to have our car seen quickly. The secretary, Cathy, is also very friendly and helpful. So happy to have found this business!

This shop is one of the last remaining honest shops. I came in worried I'd have to replace my car because the mechanic near my house said so many things needed to be fixed (but they were too busy to fit me in that week for a follow-up to an engine shampoo). My dad recommended this place. Doug, the mechanic, not only told me there was very little wrong with my car, but offered to show each thing to me and explain how to do maintenance checks. The last shop said my brake pads needed replacement, he showed me they were only halfway through their life. I feel very grateful for the excellent service, which I was not even charged for. I will never use another mechanic, as long as Doug, and his lovely sister on reception, are still running this place! I wish I could give 10 stars.
