Grumans Delicatessen Britannia

Went in on a Sunday morning and tried four different things, all were delicious. Clean, open and bright space. Our server was very helpful and cheery. We will be back.

Excellent food and friendly service! As an added bonus, they use eco-friendly plates, cups, and cutlery. Don't skip out on the pickles!

Although a bit pricey, the food here is very good. I ordered a standard pastrami sandwich and enjoyed it very much. Even more so than the food, the staff is incredibly welcoming and warm. We came in and had a large party - they worked with use to put chairs and tables together to ensure that we could all sit together - that is service. Thank you! Will definitely be back.

Grumans is a deli that excels at what a deli should: Delicious comfort food. Even the simplest of menu items, a bagel with cream cheese is done well. The bagels are nicely toasted with a generous filling of very good cream cheese. But the sandwiches and desserts are great, too, and oh God, I love the matzo ball soup!

Friendly and attentive staff. The smoked meat sandwiches are very good. There is an area to eat in with a dozen (+/-) tables. Underground parking is available around the corner. The chicken liver pate is excellent and a "must try". I recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and looking for smoked meat.
