Wingate by Wyndham Airdrie

Good place, little out of the way. Clean. Quiet. The only thing that detracted from the experience was that the staff at the front desk kept making the same mistake of giving us temporary key cards. These cards automatically stop working after 12 hours.

So, for 4 days/nights every time we tried to enter our room after 12 hours we found ourselves locked out. Each time, no matter what the time was (often late more likely than not) we would have to go down to the front desk, they would apologise, tell us it was fixed and wouldn't happen again. But it would and did every day we were there, every single day.

Great place to stay, reasonable rates, front end and room service staff were very supportive. The only small issue was the breakfast area is a little congested but the food was pretty good. I would highly recommend this place for a stay if travelling to Calgary or Cross Iron Mills shopping center.

Clean, super friendly staff, and comfy beds! Located in a very convenient part of town as well, great for someone like me who is working around the area. Would definitely stay here again.

We generally stay at the full service hotels.i.e. Marriott, Delta however, Wingate at the Airdrie has probably the best rooms!!! Hotel is very clean and spotless!! All the staff are professional and friendly. General Manager, Rhonda is so kind and friendly. She always makes us feel at home when we stay there. This is definitely my favorite place to stay when I have work in Calgary area.

We had a cancelled flight at YYC and found a room here to stay. We didn't end up arriving for check in until 7am and the staff was amazing enough to extend our check out until 4pm! On top of that, at 11am, we asked when the complimentary breakfast ended and though we missed it, they brought out breakfast again and even made fresh bacon and potatoes for us! All with a smile - all the staff here were so sincerely pleasant and helpful - way above and beyond. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in Airdrie over any other place! Incredible!
