Great people. Amazing landscape. Incredible commitment to conservation.
First time to this park. Most of the pathways are paved, the rest are gravel. Park is very well maintained but keep in mind this is still ranch land and you will need to watch out for cow manure.. otherwise it's a great place to see wildlife as well as the mountains.
We love this area that is so close to Cochrane. Well maintained trails with spectacular views. Perfect for walking or biking.
Great newish provincial park. Lots of hills for good hiking, paved main paths and unpaved secondary paths. On site washrooms, visitor centre and historic sites. On leash dogs welcome.
Really wide open park with many kilometers of paved and well maintained pathways for walking or biking. There are some steep areas, so jogging with a stroller can be a workout, but actually those with young children or even those who rely on equipment for mobility will still find accessible and enjoyable areas to explore here.
Awesome views of the Bow River Valley, the rain line, and some historic sites.
About a 10 minute drive from NW Calgary and 5 minutes from Cochrane.
