Old MacDonald Kennels

The work that Martine does with all the animals here is necessary! She goes out of her way to accommodate people, and always puts the animals needs first and foremost. Even during these difficult times, when no one is boarding their animals, she continues to rescue animals from all over Alberta at great cost to herself! The animals are so well taken care of, and are checked, vaccinated and spayed or neutered before they are adopted. Not to mention socialized and trained as well! I will continue to support Old Macdonald and hope everyone else will as well! Highly recommend for any animal lover!

The kindest and most wonderful people. Boarding kennel is awesome. My dogs are always well cared for. But most of all is their rescue. They are amazing and do everything with very little assistance financially. And will take on any challenge and will go anywhere animals are in need. ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful and, friendly staff
I was looking at getting a cat although, I haven't ever had one before.
They took some time to talk to me about the cat's needs, allowed me to sit and, just visit with the cat that I was thinking of bringing home, and, once I decided that he was definitely mine ❤️, they microchipped him, gave me a personalized tag with his new name on it, some food to take home, a care package, his health records, and even a kennel to borrow, in order to transport him home!
Lovely experience and, I am so in love with my new furry guy ❤️❤️
