Beautiful views. One of the hardest working site owners you will ever find
Good price, owners are very friendly and accommodating, nice property.
Went to visit a friend that has a seasonal spot on the ranch and the place is family friendly and terrific. If you're looking for a seasonal spot and can get in I would recommend it.
Nice, big sites. Good hiking.
Running Reins Ranch feels like a small community of new friends and family.
The owners Terry and Janice (and their children) are wonderful people who make you feel at home even before you first arrive. They are very attentive and willing to do pretty much anything to make your stay comfortable and as memorable as possible. Its such a laid back environment that it makes for a wonderful home away from home. Their children add to that experience from playing “Man Tracker” with all the campground kids at night to providing you with firewood and free range eggs for your morning feast. It truly is a family run business.
But it doesn’t end there....with so many events planned throughout the camping season, you are sure to find something that appeals to you. From Kids Hot Dog Cookouts to larger then life slip n slides; a community garden, fishing trips and Father’s Day Weekend pig roasts; the activities are endless and ongoing and gives everyone an opportunity to connect and meet the neighbours and enjoy the great outdoors.
Terry and Janice provide you with a beautiful property to explore..... rolling hills, horses grazing, hoodoos, coulees, hiking trails, fishing and the Red Deer River are just some of things just steps outside our Camper door; there is so much to do and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
The lots are very large, have mature trees and are well groomed. Plus you get your very own Teepee! My kids are super jazzed about that. So even if there is a fire ban on, don’t fret bc you can still have a fire inside your massive teepee. What an experience that will be!
We are very happy to have found Running Reins Ranch this year and are looking forward to the rest of the year getting to know our new neighbours and The Scott’s (Terry, Janice and Family).
