Is there any group camping site
Good group site, quite a lot of trees to have a bit of privacy. Clean bathrooms, good signage, lots of trash bins. I was not a fan of the massive fire pit, too deep for anything except a bonfire and no other options in the site. Super quick lake access, rocky with driftwood (others is our party went to the ‘beach’ area and boat launch but I can’t speak to it). Staff was out a couple times to check in and do maintenance upkeep which was nice.
Awesome boat launch and nice beach ... little rocky but still nice on a hot day
Glennifer lake is a fun place to go boating! The beach is what I would call rugged. It's got a lot of driftwood, it's sandy but wet so more mud like. The water is cool, but good enough for swimming. There are a few parking areas. I prefer to park down where you launch the boats, since the other parking lot makes you go down a steep little cliff to bring all of your beach gear down. Not a luxury beach, but we've always enjoyed it.
Beach is not DIRTY but could use some maintenance to smooth sand, remove runoff erosion and clear drift wood. Then I would 5 star it.
