(June 19, 2020, 1:45 am)Current operator has let the place become rundown and overgrown. $32.00/ night and nothing done to maintain the sites. We have been coming here for 6 plus years and it has not been improved at all. Great area to ATV from and trails for miles if you venture out a little on the FOrestry Trunk Road.

But please for the love of all that is holy, CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES HERE! I can not count the number of times I pass this place after a long weekend and the site is destroyed.
(August 10, 2019, 3:03 pm)Hope the new administration can keep improving as it is a beautiful place and we plan to come back. Priorities should be the washrooms and the shelter.
The access to the James River is great!
(October 4, 2017, 6:18 am)Not really a great group site. Cook shack is s little run down and far away from anything so not useful. Quad trails are non existent so dont go out there expecting Wiaparous or Mclean Creek. Decent site for a few people but not nothing overly remarkable.
