Artists - striking out, off the beaten path with their family, inspired by nature and a dream. A home of handbuilt ceramic pieces that index local ecology, the grand provenance of our planet, and a passion for found things.
Browsing through the tiny frontispiece in this chaotic studio feels like drifting into the artist's mind. It's all paired with a sense of hospitality that makes you feel like you were buying from a friend, more than a business.
Unique pieces, like full tea sets that send you into pre-history as much as contemporary elegance, hearty mugs - and even rattles - provide grounded connections to the artist's experience.
A wonderful pottery shop not far from Drumheller. Met Janet and had a great discuss with her. Added to our collection with a couple of pieces of their work.
Love the pottery (we bought several pieces) and Janet was super friendly and helpful. If you appreciate pottery and are in the badlands, stop and have a look.
Such a delightful find of this sweet studio filled with many treasures artfully displayed. A wonderful variety of pottery creations from rock rattles to bowls, mugs, tea pots and jewelry all with a theme of the stunning badlands, dinosaurs and fossils of the area imbeded in each piece. A must see!!!
