Teacher Sharla's Music Studio

I originally met Teacher Sharla as an MYC teacher for my 4yo daughter. She is a fun, engaging teacher, and her communication with parents is excellent and informative. This summer I took ukulele lessons from her as an adult, and was able to check something off my bucket list that has been on there for years! Highly recommend.

Teacher Sharla is amazing! The studio is such a warm and joyful place to be and the instruction is truly top notch. It was so great to be able to continue music lessons (virtually and in-person) over the pandemic as it provided some much-needed routine for our family. Sharla was very flexible in providing for varying comfort levels during the height of Covid.

Teacher Sharla works well with kids of all ages and you can tell she loves what she does. Our daughter has taken piano for four years and has gained confidence, skills and a daily practice routine. She can sight read, make up songs with chords and has found a love of music. She is even trying out ukulele with teacher Sharla too!

We love the Music for Young Children program with Teacher Sharla. She is amazing, and makes the lesson engaging and fun for the kids. My son has been taking her lessons since he was 4, and Teacher Sharla is the reason we have continued on. She is an excellent teacher - professional, patient, accommodating, and funny. She also delivers lessons virtually, and has taken extra precautions this season for COVID for in class learners. Overall - amazing teacher. Highly recommend!

My daughters are going through MYC with Teacher Sharla. Teacher Sharla is an amazing music teacher who is naturally great with children. Her years of experience with the program really show. She is professional, thorough and communicates well with the families to ensure everyone understands. There are also opportunities to perform annually. Virtual and cleaning studio adaptations have been made to accommodate covid health requirements in a safe and effective manner without compromising the students musical learning experience. I highly recommend MYC and specifically Teacher Sharla!
