Kien and his team were very helpful to us for our small homeowner project. We had a contractor coming on Monday to begin construction on a new fence, but we needed to have the utilities marked before work could begin. We had tried to get Alberta One Call to come, but after several back-and-forth attempts, we ended up needing to get a private service in order to begin the project on time. Scantec agreed to come on a Friday evening and do both my yard and the neighbor's yard for a bundled rate, and they were very thorough and professional. Since they are actually scanning for the utilities, they were able to tell me exactly where and how deep the conduits were located within 2-3 inches, and they also produced a detailed report with a map for future reference that will make future projects much easier. I would highly recommend their services, especially if you are fed up waiting for One Call to come and mark your property!
