Kyle was an excellent teacher who took a dull course and turned it into an engaging and highly effective day of real world, industry relevent training. Not just reading slides and walking us through the test as most of these trainings are. Never thought I'd say this, but I look forward to a refresher course from this company. Keep up the great work Kyle. :)
The Overhead Crane and Rigging course I attended Tuesday was excellent!
I was lucky to have spent the early years of my industrial career on a piping and valves maintenance crew with a group of skilled tradespeople who were knowledgeable and who valued safety. We were all lucky to be working for a company who supported us working safely by providing the necessary training and encouraging safe work practices.
I have since worked in shops and been on plant and construction sites in other parts Canada and overseas. I have seen that the knowledge, skill and access to Overhead Crane and Rigging training varies greatly.
The instruction provided by Mike at Cranemasters was top notch!
We had a group of students who had a variety of levels of experience. Mike kept everyone engaged, explained things well, and kept us learning all day!
It's clear to me that if more people had Cranemaster training, we would see less incidents of damaged equipment and property, and more importantly, more people would go home safe from work.
Keep up the good work!!
I have taken their crand and rigging course multiple times over the years. I have found it to be an excellent teaching course that has helped guide me through my years as a heavy duty mechanic. This most recent course led by Mike was excellent. He has a great teaching style that involves input from the class as well as stories from both himself and students to help drive home the lessons. He has an excellent knowledge of the program and made it a very enjoyable experience.
I’ve always enjoyed this course. I believe anyone who wants to work with a crane of any sort should know the fundamentals of rigging and safe work procedures. This course offers all that having kyle who has been in the field, and can relate have me insight I needed for doing things correctly to ensure my crew and I make it home safe, And the proper use of the tools and rigging we use each day.
