Ashley Robinson of Homes by Avi helped us from start to finish when it came to building our home. We have been in our home for almost four years. The whole process of planning to construction was very easy, and Ashley kept us informed the whole way through. When it came time to take possession, Ashley walked us through the house, we were given very detailed instructions on all the necessary upkeep, and move in was very easy. She even organized a neighbourhood block party for all the neighbours to get to know each other (where my daughter ended up meeting a close friend of hers and they now go to the same school).
Two experiences come to mind that were not a 5 out of 5 experience. First, when it came time to build the garage, that went smoothly except when they lay down the concrete blocks that led from our deck to the garage door. There was a huge incline that would have been very unsafe to walk on, and it was only at the urging and request of myself and next door neighbours that Homes By Avi put in wooden steps. Second, our air conditioning unit - in other houses, it was attached to the side but since we were a middle unit, this was not taken into consideration and was just placed on our deck which took up a lot of space. It took almost two years for them to fix - they had to put down a concrete pad (took two tries because the first one was not suitable) and had to unplug the whole air conditioning unit while waiting for this install. It took way too long to find a solution for where to place our air conditioning unit when it should have been something that was dealt with before moving in.
Otherwise, Ashley Robinson was so amazing to deal with and she made moving into our first home a wonderful experience. Thank you, Ashley!

We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Homes by Avi. We are fortunate in getting connected with Nancy and her team from The Orchards. Her team went above and beyond to ensure that the transaction for buying our first home in Edmonton is as smooth as possible since everything has to be done via email and zoom. They were all very responsive to our needs and was always available when we needed to be. Not to forget Kelly from the design team, she was amazing. She helped us through the process and made the whole selection process smooth and fun.
We’ve dealt with other builders before but Homes by Avi is by far the most organized and amazing builder. We highly recommend it to anyone!
