Adoption Options

Adoption Options assisted with the international adoption of our son. It was a long process made short by their tireless efforts and incredible patience. We are so grateful to them and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I would highly recommend Adoption Options and their team. We worked with AO in 2018 to meet our son and his birth mom. They worked closely with us one on one throughout the adoption and made a normally complicated process very straightforward. They were in contact with us all the time keeping us up to date on our progress and what the next step was. They offer pay as you use their services system so you pay for the step you use. We also loved that they broke down the fees for us so we could see exactly what was being paid for during the process. For example, it seems like a lot when you start until you look at the breakdown and hours put it by paid professionals, counselors, lawyers, social workers. It completely all makes sense and creates trust. They provided us with compassion, trust, honesty, a step-by-step process, help along the way and they are still in our lives and we check in and always stop by the office when we make it to the city. Thank you for helping us meet our son and showing us about the amazing world of Open Adoption and the possibility of healthy relationships with the birth family. It is our choice and now we have added to our family and the number of people that love and support our son seems endless! We are so overjoyed! 🥰

In 1987, I gave life to baby boy at Miseracordia Hospital. In September 1987, I knew I wasn't mature or stable enough to raise a child. I called Adoption Options and met with a facilitator who helped me build a list of what I would like in an adoptive person/couple. March 13th, a day after my 19th birthday my son was born. 3 days later I dressed and kissed my boy goodbye and handed him to his parents. Was the hardest and BEST thing I've ever done in my life to date. I'm now 52, never stopped thinking about or loving my son. Tragically, I was searching for him on the internet after he turned 19, only to find an obituary notice that he had passed away a few years ago. Ever grateful and thankful for Adoption Options and their care kindness in my situation all these years later.

I am a birth grandma. This wonderful agency helped my daughter, myself and our family through a very difficult, emotional time. Our social worker Marlene was so warm and caring, helping us through the choices available to my daughter and then guided us expertly through the process. It was a truly wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this agency to others trying to find their way through the choices available to pregnant women. And if her choice be open adoption I can attest to the wondrous experience it can be and is for us.
