Townhouses - Issue with Noise Transfer. Potential buyers need to be aware that there's considerable noise transfer between the walls and you can definitely hear your neighbors. I can hear my neighbors closing their kitchen cupboards, talking, their dog barking, when they go up and down the stairs my walls shake to the point that I had to remove some pictures from the walls. The Pacesetter Warranty team won't investigate to determine if this is a construction issue or not; noise transfer is acceptable to them. Pacesetter's standard is the minimum government of Alberta construction standards and no better. Choose a builder who will go above these standards, not one who's only willing to meet them.
