Briarwood Apartments

I have been living in Briarwood apartments for more than 3 years, my experience has been excellent with the new home manager Gordon. It is a very quiet building, Gordon has tackled all the maintenance issues efficiently in a short time. Overall my stay has been really good.

I’ve lived here for about a year now and I really haven’t had many issues! Any issues I did have, I brought up to the landlord, Pita, who very promptly dealt with them. Maintenance requests are handled as quickly as possible, especially those deemed emergent. Pita is very open and honest in his communication with his tenants. He gave me, a newly single mother, the opportunity to start fresh with my young son in a clean and safe environment. I am very appreciative of his help and taking a chance on me. There are tenants here who have lived here for close to a decade which shows that it is a nice place to live. If you are looking for a quiet, well-maintained, family building, this is a great option. Close to WEM, bus stops, and shopping. North of this location, you will find many stores and dining options along Stony Plain road, and just south of the whitemud gives you access to the callingwood shopping plaza where you can find a library, YMCA, and more! Again, very quiet building with respectful neighbours and no drama. In fact, I have made some very good friends during my time at this apartment. As long as you pay your rent on time, Pita considers you a good tenant and will be very accommodating and understanding of your needs. He is also very understanding of any financial difficulties as long as you are honest and transparent of your situation. My family has grown which is why we are leaving, but otherwise our time here was very nice and I will miss living here. Highly recommend!

Neat and clean apartment. Awesome part is good maintenance service. Always got good response for a concern. Good space except Kitchen is a bit smaller. Spacious parking lot. Pet and kids friendly. Nice neighbourhood. I really like it.

Wanted to leave another quick review regarding my stay at Briarwood. Was a great quiet building, and anytime I asked Pita (Building Manager) for anything, he was quick to it and always friendly about it! You could tell the man is busy, but always made time. I would recommend Briarwood.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Pita and Briarwood. He’s always reachable, and willing to help. My unit may be a tad dated, but it’s clean, and well maintained considering the age of the building. It’s quiet and mouse free. I gave it four stars because my unit gets far to warm, and my shower head is too short haha. Otherwise, I’m quite happy here. And by no means is Pita, the building manager a racist.
