CDI College - Edmonton West

I have just started the Veterinary Health Care Assistance program through CDI and so far the classes have been wonderful. Kathy Norton was my first instructor for the Student Success Strategies intro and I enjoyed her personality and the vibe of the room. Communication and collaboration were great and the course has been very inciteful. I feel empowered and less intimidated going forward in my studies. Altogether, I am firm that I made the right decision to further my education through CDI College. Thank you.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this class, for Addictions and Community Service Worker. I am so grateful to Michael, he was patient and persevered to get me to the class. The best person who pulled me through is my great instructor - Kelly Johnson. I would be not in this class and made it this far without her. Kelly is firm, professional, patient, talented, and very knowledgeable instructor. She helps you and also encourages you to do your part. This is a tense program, but if one plays their part well, you make it. This is proving to me that hard work pays, l would encourage anyone, who wants to change career or just to upgrade, this is worth it. Not just for you but how to treat and help others around. I am grateful and want to thank all the staff at CDI College, West Is Best. Be blessed!

I have been attending CDI College since November 2021, enrolled in the Addictions and Social Work program. After having attended Grant Macewan and the University of Alberta (which are both great educational institutions), but smaller class sizes CDI offer gives students the opportunity for guidance. My professor Kelly Johnson is thorough, very oriented in setting up students for success. Some of the content can be deep and not always simple.
Kelly is great at educating the importance of the content but creating a comfortable and safe environment to create ease in asking some more difficult questions and invites everyone to feel comfortable in sharing. Other members of the faculty are also prompt in responding to any inquiries. The program content is also very thorough, and CDI also offers and provides many resources to further your success. It has been a difficult couple of years with the transitions from in person classes to online education, I think everyone understands it may not be ideal, but in my program, although online, does provide student to student connection. I have nothing but excellent things to say about CDI College and would recommend it to anyone looking to further their education.

I'm really enjoying the Addictions and Mental Health course and definitely learning a lot! There's been some bumps in the road but Kelly has been great! She is understanding and very down to earth, which has been a breath of fresh air. I'm excited for my future in this field!

I also want to give a shout out to Jessica Goce, Thank you so much for the interview tips and the patience that she had with me in making sure that I was comfortable for the future!

I entered this course with the hopes of becoming a better version of myself, the modules and assignments throughout the course have provided me with the tools I needed to accomplish a better me and the ability to perhaps help others in this uncertain world. My instructor Kelly has been an amazing instructor with the expertise and empathy needed to be successful in the field. I would recommend this course for anyone trying to better themselves, and for people that just want to help. This is a fast paced course meant for people who do well under pressure. you have to put in the work, as with any college diploma or degree. thank you CDI College for giving me this opportunity.
