Great place to visit relax and peace out. But don't bring a fishing rod. Do bring bug repellant though.
A fantastic place to bird watch
This is my relaxation spot. I usually go there for photography and listening to birds. I sit there shooting birds while enjoying the sounds and fresh air of the lake. Do not forget your insects repelants. Mosquitos are hige here.
Lots and lots of Birds!A nice place to enjoy nature. You can drive pretty close to the viewing hub which is great.
We visited for the first time on May 12, 2021. Amazing amount of birds, and there is a squadron, or pouch, of pelicans staying here currently. Lots of yellow headed black birds and various pipers, ducks, and gulls. A bird watcher's paradise. We can't wait to go back. Bring shoes meant to get muddy, a good zoom lens, and dress for the weather. Highly recommend.
