(June 15, 2018, 4:19 pm)Take this 30 minute trip (from downtown Calgary) to see elk and bison at the ranch. Give the staff a heads up and after a quick discussion of the rules (don’t open any gates, don’t disturb the animals) you can even drive some of the ranch roads to get a close up view. Early summer is calving season so they are very protective, don’t get out of your car and if the animals show signs of getting upset then slowly drive away.
