I had a wonderful time at Lake Louise, and an even better time with the local RCMP! The patrol vehicles are very cozy and roomy! Very smooth ride. Air conditioned with a welcoming atmosphere and an excellent view!

I lost my car key on the trail to Aylmer Lookout. My ID and credit card were locked in the car, and my phone had died.
I went to the RCMP detachment in Banff, and Constable Quimper discussed available options with me and made multiple phone calls on my behalf.
He drove me to the parking lot where the trail starts to have a locksmith unlock my car and drove me back to the town.
He was friendly and empathetic the whole time.
Yesterday, I saw what I had heard, which is that the police are here to protect and help the public.

What the rooms lack in natural light and furniture they compensate by their large open space and ensuite bathroom/water fountain.

They are using proactive measures to ensure the clealiness of the rooms, they will make sure you have removed your shoes prior to your stay and they prohibit any BDSM play inside their wall hence the "no belt" policy
