The Prow at Buffalo Mountain Lodge

Worth the drive up to the Prow restaurant. Decor has a modern chalet feel with warm lighting. The drinks menu has some really fun cocktails.
It's hard not to over order appetizers, like we did.

You can't beat The Prow during the holidays. This cozy dining room is modern yet trendy, and they spruce it up incredibly during December/January. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Add this stop (or better yet, stay!) to your next Banff vacation!

This was a very nice bar with many great signature cocktails. Friendly and informative staff and servers. Dominic and PJ were both easy to talk to and had good advice about the area. I had a Buffalo burger for lunch and the poutine for dinner on the same day. Everything was super tasty. The burger was more done than I had hoped, but probably safer and it was delicious. The fries that came with it were crispy and hot. Poutine is just great comfort food. If you haven’t had any before you have to try it. It’s a great meal for the morning after a long night too.

This place amazingly surprised us, the cocktails & food were delicious and service was wonderful too! Came back again a second time and got to enjoy our cocktails beside the fireplace. 🥰

This place surprised us. The food is incredible. We only like to try a place once and then try other places but this place was soo good we went three times
We had breakfast here twice and dinner one night.
For breakfast we had the back bacon Benny and Avocado toast. Coffee was delicious with oat milk.
Dinner we had the small charcuterie which we ate everything on the platter. The Buffalo main meal it was the best we've ever had.
Muscles which were really good 👍
Desert was the deepfried Gelato that was so good! I think we ate it in 2 minutes even though we were so full. Do yourself a favor and get this.
